Sow Seed

Sowing Seed & Keeping a Good Doctrine

God gives seed to the sower: Not a variety of seed

Read Isaiah 55:10

Anybody can sow their own seeds (and of many kinds) such as wild oats, tares, and especially the seed that reaps the whirlwind. When God gives seed to a sower, the finest of wheat can be harvested as long as it falls on good ground. (Galatians 3:16)

John 7:14-18

The doctrine that I preach is not my own:

Doctrine can be defined as teaching that comes from the doctor. Not just anyone can treat a serious wound, but one who specializes in medical science can (ergo a specialized doctor can treat a special wounds). The doctor’s medicine is not his own.

God spoke to Pastor Fred telling him that the word doctrine also relates the word, “staple”.  Staple can be defined as the chief commodity or food that is produced in large quantities (the main crop). In other words, it important to keep a good staple diet because it is exactly what the body needs and nothing more; But of course we all sometimes delight in excess foods that are not good for the body.

Relating back to a doctrine

Whenever good doctrine is diluted or tampered with by adding extra nonsense , it then becomes ineffective in nurturing the spirit. A daily dose of good doctrine for our human spirit is like a staple diet for the body. As mentioned before, it is exactly what the body (spirit) needs to be healthy.
